How to sync TrainingPeaks workouts with Zwift Indoor Cycling

ERG Mode on Wahoo Kickr feels much harder?

When you use ERG mode on the Wahoo Kickr does the power feel harder compared to what it feels like on the road? I had this experience and even noticed I had to put out 10-20 watts more than the ERG mode was set at to keep a good cadence on ERG mode. I since discovered this setting that has made my specific sessions using the Wahoo Kickr + Bolt head unit more in line with what the power reads and feels like on the road where I use a Quarq or Stages L/R power meter.

Can You Achieve Your Full Potential Training Mostly Indoors?

If you had asked me a few years ago if a cyclist can achieve their full potential by training mostly indoors I would have said “no way”. My opinion has changed since coaching someone who has proved me wrong by achieving incredible success with training primarily indoors but racing outdoors.
